Get to Know Us
I am a Board-Certified NJ-licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Drug and Alcohol Counselor. I have worked with clients with various mental health and addiction comorbidity, aging from young to elder adults.
My work experience includes clinical mental health treatment in Community Behavioral Health agencies, Hospital/University-based Acute Mental Health Care Agencies, and community-based specialized care facilities (working with adolescents and adults in crisis).
I enjoy assisting Clients in finding ways to overcome and/or co-exist with their challenges. I provide clients the space to develop useful coping strategies based on evidence-based practices (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT & REBT Behavior Therapies) utilizing a Person-centered approach. My therapeutic strategies are trauma-informed and culturally competent.
I believe “we are all more alike than we are different.” With that philosophy, I engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and circumstances to improve self-awareness in identifying & managing illness and discover ways to manage life challenges without becoming “stuck,” while identifying unique personal strengths & talents to help meet goals.

These storms may come in many forms, like stress, trauma, illness, and/or life imbalances.
It’s not always about if we can do it, but how we can do it. With assistance, we can become stronger and more confident in ourselves and our capacity to reach the goals we desire to achieve. In a way, we can discover our Superpowers.
